We were tasked with this special project, solving the problem of service access to luminaires in the newly renovated lecture hall -Alfvénsalen- at the Royal Institute of Technology (Kungliga tekniska högskolan).

With 10m ceilings and sloping stands, there was no possibility of servicing the luminaires. Our solution became to put GIS chain hoists with a wireless control system up in the attic with the chains going down through holes in the ceiling. A fixed chandelier in the center of the ceiling made it a bit more challenging, but we manufactured and installed two U-shaped aluminum frames to leave space in the center for the chandelier.
