We are already booking projects for 2020 and has just signed a deal to deliver and install the new control system for the lifting solution in Kungsbacka teater, Sweden.
A little history
The original Kungsbacka teater seating 350 people was inaugurated in September of 1981. It functioned as a theater and auditorium for the Elof Lindälv upper secondary school for 25 years. In 2006, however, the theater moved in connection with the rebuilding of Aranäs upper secondary school. Aranäsgymnasiet, as it’s called, houses an arts programme with education for aspiring actors, directors, musicians, dancers, painters and other artists. The new larger venue with seating for about 500 people opened its doors for the school and public in September 2006.
The theater describes itself as a meeting place and a modern center for cultural experiences. They invite the visitor to “experiences that affect, enrich and unite” with a range that includes “everything from classical music, jazz, and dance to pop, rock, theater, and standup.”
The theater also offers companies to put their conferences, lectures, and fairs on the premises.
About the project
The theater is now looking to update the control system for its existing lifting solution with 21 flying bars.
PSRIG’s part
The installation will include our own fully-programmable FlexControl system with variable speed, positioning, and load monitoring.
Delivery and installation will start during January 2020.
