OUR VISION

“For a better functioning stage environment”

We aim to be a total provider of comprehensive, high-quality stage mechanical and rigging solutions for the entertainment industry.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to meet our customers’ needs by delivering, installing and maintaining well-designed, safe, and functional rigging solutions that enhance their creative and technical experience.

We strive to serve the market with innovative, flexible, and dependable staging solutions, acting as a profitable bridge between retailers/contractors and end-users.

Industry veteran Kim Ekblad, involved in stage and event technology since the early 2000s, joined forces with the Danish company Priebe Sceneteknik A/S in 2015 to establish a Swedish branch called Priebe Scenteknik AB.

The Swedish subsidiary quickly gained traction and grew to become a leading stage-tech installation company within Scandinavia. In late 2017, the Swedish company became fully independent from the Danes, with Kim partnering up with fellow Dutch-Swedish entrepreneur Aart Gigengack.

Aart, who had been developing the successful rigging sales company Scan-Rig AB since 2012, had previously co-operated with Priebe Scenteknik AB. Recognizing their complementary abilities and strengths, the two companies decided to merge. As a result – effective January 1, 2019 – Priebe-ScanRig AB was formed.

  • Priebe Sceneteknik A/S founded in 1960
  • Scan-Rig AB founded in 2012
  • Priebe Scenteknik AB created in 2015, fully independent by 2017
  • Priebe-ScanRig AB created through a merger on January 1st, 2019

  • 25 years of experience in the stage and rigging business
  • Hundreds of stage mechanical installations throughout Sweden and Norway
  • Support available 365 days a year
  • Privately owned by the co-founders
  • 14 employees, 6 company vehicles

Brand Guidelines

The Logo

The PSRIG visual identity was designed to reflect the unity of its two founding companies. The color scheme combines elements from both original brands, while the underline beneath “RIG” pays tribute to the former Scan-Rig logo as well as highlight the company’s core focus.

The logotype is rich with intentional symbolism, inviting viewers to think of concepts like “collaboration,” “merging,” “linking together,” “directional movement,” and “control”. Subtly embedded within the design is also a nod to the comedy and tragedy masks from the theater world, with a smile and frown hidden within the symbol. The logo is also encased in a button-like shape, emphasizing our expertise in control of electromechanical systems.

Another key consideration was ensuring that both the symbol and wordmark could be efficiently utilized for metal stamping or laser cutting onto our components during installations.
