We were tasked with developing and installing a solution for hanging equipment above the stage and audience area at Oktoberteatern in Södertälje. The system had to casually blend into the theater surroundings and not put any load/stress on the ceiling.

After a long period of deliberation, work began on producing the drawings for the custom truss structure. As safety and longevity is fundamental in our work, we brought in special external engineering expertise for the complex calculations and simulations required. Together with our supplier, truss manufacturer Interal, we finalized a solution that, despite several special angles, could handle the heavy workloads the theater asked for. Attaching the base plates to concrete foundations solved the high pressure on the floors. Special clamping joints were designed around the columns, and extra diagonals were welded into the truss to ensure stability and safety. The truss construction was also pre-assembled and tested by the manufacturer before shipment.

The finished installation is now approved and ready for use. The feedback from our customers is very positive, and we are proud to have achieved such great results. This project required a high level of expertise and was carried out by our very experienced and highly professional installation team: Edwin, Gerrit, and Mathias.

The project manager would also like to send a special thank you to Noah for his contributions to the project.
