As last year is now behind us, we can look back on a highly eventful and successful first six months for PSRIG Netherlands.
While discussions about physically expanding PSRIG into the Dutch market had been ongoing for some time, everything truly accelerated when Marc Lubberts visited PSRIG owners Aart and Kim in Sweden. By 17 April 2025, all necessary contracts and documentation were signed, marking the formal start of the Dutch subsidiary.
What followed were a few intense weeks of searching for suitable premises and acquiring the required equipment. With support from Aart, Marc was able to officially open the business on 1 May 2025.
The initial phase focused primarily on completing the new showroom and establishing and stocking the warehouse. Once the first employee, Bram Kusters, joined the team the operation gained real momentum.
Bram got the opportunity to receive some introduction and training by visiting the colleagues at PSRIG Sweden during the summer. In connection with this, a company van was also acquired and driven back to the Netherlands.
A chance encounter at Schiphol Airport then set a new chain of events in motion. On his way to board a flight Marc ran into an old friend, Walter Van Dorst —a highly experienced sales professional— who was immediately intrigued by the ambition to establish a new Dutch sales division for PSRIG. It didn’t take long before Walter joined the initiative, and today a strong and complementary trio leads the PSRIG Netherlands office.
Significant effort was also invested in migrating to a new ERP system, a necessary and welcome upgrade that strengthened our operational capacity as orders grew in size and frequency.
So, what’s next? After reviewing the past year and enjoying some well-deserved time off over Christmas and New Year, we now return with renewed energy. The sky is the limit, but next on the calendar is PSRIG’s participation at
